An independent association consisting of several sub-dealers have announced to boycott the NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) if the current approach taken by the apex body of automobile dealers in Nepal fails to find any meaningful solution regarding the ongoing import ban and soaring interest rates crisis.Submitting a memorandum to the Vice-President of NADA at the capital today, the sub-dealers have called on the organization to immediately resolve the issue through dialogues with the concerned stakeholders at the earliest. The delegates also requested NADA to immediately announce a series of protest movements to draw the government's attention or face a nationwide boycott.“Even though we have repeatedly requested NADA to listen to the voices of sub-dealers on the current crisis, the organization has not taken any clear initiative to solve the problems. Hence, we have been forced to submit this memorandum to draw NADA's attention", told a sub-dealer, requesting anonymity."It’s a serious issue and needs to be resolved at the earliest. Otherwise, we will have no option but to boycott the association and look for other alternatives", said another representative present during the handover programme.Several sub-dealers associated with various automobile companies were present during the handover ceremony.
